Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors
The Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) is the national non-profit professional association representing regulated (or, in unregulated jurisdictions, those who meet the criteria for regulation) naturopathic doctors. The CAND advocates on behalf of the naturopathic profession federally, supports scientific research as well as the regulation of all health-care professionals to ensure public safety. The Association educates people about the training and education of naturopathic doctors and promotes the benefits of naturopathic medicine to the public, corporations, insurance companies and the federal government.
